Bangladeshi Sports Journalist Md Nahid Islam Expands International Sports Coverage from Qatar
Bangladeshi sports journalist and photographer Md Nahid Islam is continuing to establish himself in international sports media through his coverage of major football tournaments and sporting events in Qatar.
Based in Doha, Nahid works as a Sports Journalist and Photographer at Dhaka Patrika, where he reports on football and other sporting events. His work has included coverage of globally recognised competitions such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026 AFC Qualifiers. He is also a member of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS).
